Tell Rootkin who you are in this tree

Once you tell Rootkin™ which person on the tree is you, the rest of the app gets smarter — narrator defaults, Quick Record suggestions, and voice-driven descriptions all stop asking you the same question over and over.

Walkthrough

  1. Open Settings → Tree Management and tap Who am I?
  2. Pick yourself from the list of people in the tree. If you're not in the tree yet, add yourself first, then come back and choose your record.
  3. From now on, when you record a voice memory, the narrator defaults to you. When you describe your family by voice, Rootkin knows what "my brother" and "my mom" mean.
Per-tree setting. If you belong to more than one tree (one for each side of the family, say), you set this for each tree independently.
