Create your first family tree

Walkthrough

1. Open the Rootkin app and sign in (or sign up — it's the same flow). New accounts land on a "Create your first tree" prompt.
2. Give your tree a name. Most families pick a surname ("The Lloyd Family") or a place ("The Pawleys Island side"). You can rename it later.
3. Tap Create tree. Rootkin opens straight into your new tree's home screen.
4. The first person you add will usually be yourself or whoever the tree starts from. Tap the People tab and use the green + button in the bottom-right.
