Walkthrough
Open Settings → Notifications.
Toggle each notification type on or off:
Upcoming birthdays — a quiet reminder the day before, and the morning of.
Upcoming anniversaries — same shape as birthdays, for wedding anniversaries Rootkin knows about.
Activity digest — a once-a-day roll-up if anyone has added memories, photos, or people while you were away.
The first time you toggle any of these on, your phone asks for notification permission. Say yes. (If you say no by accident, you'll need to allow Rootkin notifications from your phone's system Settings.)
Notifications are mobile only — the web app doesn't push notifications today.
