Walkthrough
- Open Settings → Kid Mode.
- Set a four-digit PIN the first time. This is the PIN you'll enter to step back out of Kid Mode later — pick something memorable but not obvious.
- Toggle Kid Mode on. The app switches to a read-only state: people, photos, and memories are all visible, but the buttons that add or edit anything are hidden.
- Hand the phone over. Your six-year-old can scroll the tree, watch voice memories, and look at photos. They can't accidentally delete grandma.
- To leave Kid Mode, open Settings → Kid Mode and enter the PIN.
Pairs well with Child Protection. Kid Mode is about who can edit.
Child Protection is about who can see photos of kids in the tree. They solve different problems — use both.
