Walkthrough
- From the Home screen, tap Create a PDF. You can also reach it from the export icon on the Tree view.
- Pick a template — a greeting card or a newsletter.
- Choose a theme (Keepsake, Holiday, Birthday, Tribute, or Year in review) and a date range (this year, last year, last 12 months, or a custom span).
- Choose who to include — everyone, your immediate family, or a custom set of people. Rootkin pulls in photos, milestones, and voice memories from that scope.
- Fine-tune with the toggles: turn individual photos, milestones, or memories on or off, and add your own cover text.
- Tap Create. Rootkin drafts the PDF, then you can email or message it or print it. Voice memories appear as a tap-to-listen link (digital) or a QR code (print).
Protecting children. A child under protection is left out of the PDF by default. Only the tree owner or a designated Protector can choose to include them — and their details are filtered to what you're allowed to see before the file ever leaves your device.
